I almost bought the tickets from AirAsia.. until I realise the departure time is 7am from Bangkok! *#!@

Personally I prefer the timing from SwissAir @ $190. I think the promotion link has been removed from the website but here's the direct link:

http://www.swiss.com/web/IE6/tg-to-so-sg-bangkok-saver?

Btw, TG is now @ $195 too.

Chok Dee!

Major airlines will slash their prices very soon. Haha.

Budget Airlines can never fight with Major Airlines because of the no-frills they offer. It only offers an alternative, and 1 more thing is Air Asia doesn't have miles to clock, not to say whether they flight is well-maintained.

For those who are thinking of seeing their tiraks in thailand due to the coming of Air Asia, pay more for a normal ticket is better than saving some cash for their sponsorship fees. Take the major airlines.

If Air Asia runs services within Thailand provinces, it might be a hit.

eh, 7am departure timing in BKK not suited for you.

Hi Sinoview,

I always buy my tickets from Bangkok.

The following are published fares, before discount from travel agent.

BKK/SIN/BKK SQ Business THB22840 excluding tax (USD586)
SIN/BKK/SIN SQ Business SGD1436 exculding tax (USD855)

The difference is even greater if it is on other airlines.

Regards
Rushie

For business class and first class, one can see the difference in the price. For the economy classes, though cheaper to buy in BKK than in Sin, the difference is not much. Only a little like about $10-$30 depending on promotions too. Sometimes Singapore have promotion, while BKK don't have while sometimes vice versa. In long run, it will be cheaper to buy a return ticket from BKK instead if you are frequently flying to BKK every 2 weeks.
