It seems like every disaster is an opportunity to beg for money in the guise of International Aid for the victims but seldom does the money filter down to the actual victims.

The recent typhoon Bopha is an example...... there was a collection by a church group frequently attended by pinays for the typhoon victims in orchard road area. What pissed me off was they requested for CASH from those donors. My hotel has underwent some upgrading and has about 2,000 pieces of blankets which we wanted to donate...... but no sir, we only collect cash donations. :mad:

The woman peep n remarked: these people r not poor they r lazy n only boom boom to make babies, i m really the poor one cause i work. People who give don't have to show.

I said: It's up to me who i want to give n i show the pics to shut off some big mouth.
She lanlan n walked away.

She's just jealous that she doesnt get the price of cake lol.100 per stalk of rose =rice to a few needy.I'm sure her business is good.

Cialis peddlers, beggars, baklas, trikes i just walk pass n take them as invisible as too many of them. A bit impolite of me but can't be helped.

Sometime out of goodwill I buy chewing gums at 20p with the kids or cig with the vendor when I ran of of them and everytime I walk past them they wont stop bother me day & night but some are quite polite.it's the beggars & baklas that are the persistent one I guess they have nothing to lose anyway so just keep trying anyway?

U hv to show these beggars/peddlars they r just wasting their time cause u not gonna budge watever they do, then they recognise u n leave u alone

Spot on.engage in any conversation or even eye contact gurantee them swarming around u.I sometime shake head with a smile they don't take no for a answer so like u,I just walk like they are invisible that's the best way so far:cool:
