They only want cash because they can get whatever they want with it.

There is a very rich and famous american movie director who wanted to help indo after the tsunami. He found a surplus of MRE (packaged meals) that he offered to purchase so he could donate them to the NGOs. They refused, said we only want money. He was so disgusted, he chartered a cargo airplane and flew them there on his own nickel. Now he no longer supports NGOs. I guess MREs don't pay for fat cat consultants to fly first class and stay in 5* hotels while the people they are supposed to be helping live in poverty. That's why they want cash, like a bunch of leeches.

depends la, cannot say like that also cost of transporting blankets all the way back may make it economically nonviable. Need to arrange logistics also locally to store while money is just wired.

I am not new to Sammyboy but have been a silent reader.

I have been to AC a few times already and intend to be a regular. Honestly, i feel AC is the best mongering place on earth very affordable, hot girls, all the booze you want and can gamble too!

Only not so good thing is the food la ..but that can be managed. Have you guys tried the whole roasted chicken for 150p? Very value for money. I usually go to the shop behind Manson Drug and Natalia, opposite Norma's exchange. They also have good grilled tilapia for 70p.

Since they do not want them.... donate those blankets to the Boys Brigade or Salvation Army. Or you can also give them to the Red Cross to store in their warehouse for future disasters. Don't waste good things on those ungrateful and greedy Pinays.

Slient reader but Well said this time bro!I have been a regular to Thailand & indo but I find myself the happiest when I'm in ac/subic.people are so friendly girls give great gfe & attitude a lot more better than others.

some people said ac is a shit hole with nothing to do but what else more can a guy wish?To be able to eat drink monger & gamble(吃喝漂赌）is paradise to me.;)

I never find myself bored infact I don't have enough time even when I stay there a few weeks at times.Busy barhopping,attending party,visit the casino,play at poker room & egames,finding potential barfine even after i have one in my hand,managing the girls that text & want to meet,catching up with expat friend,rock the town,enjoying local life at the malls,savoring the good food...the list goes on!:cool::D

Roast chicken is simply masarap.try the one near mercury drug lower fields Mac Donald.many local queqing up to tapao have to wait at times.

but if visitors are going to spoil the market...
it may not be worth the trip there in future...
when me 1st visit to AC...

now barfines gone to 4-digits...
and still going up every quarter year...

Well said. Just don carry a wallet and put your limited money in a tight pocket. Use a basic hand phone. Crime against foreigners is at an all time high now.

Weather is great n sunny. Visitor arrivals at all time low. Walking street is quiet at 8pm last night. I managed 33.40p 2 days ago.
