Thank you for the lesson about the "white Thai". The culture, food and language is fascinating. I don't speak Thai. I wish I do.

I only been to the north a few times. I even cross over to the border town of Tachileik, in. Burma from Mae Sai.

I love mountain trekking and enjoying the nature. I have this fascination about different people group. In Mae Fah Luang, there is a Chinese villagegrowing tea. I got to see some mountain villages and visiting hill tribes like the Akha and Lissu. I understand they are originally from Tibet and migrated to yunnan and Burma. They are similar to people I met in Bhutan too. Some of the motif from their clothings are also similar to the tribes of Native American living in Oklahoma USA. Just trying to connect the dots.
