sunny again today ! :)

well hopefully will remain like this for the next few days .. please i don't want anymore wet wet trousers and cab fights ... :(

anyway was at club zzyzx (pronounced "zee zix" , like zig zag, just with more Es and Xs, lol) on tues night, friend's bday. wasn't packed, but IMO above average figures for a tues night. had a nice u shaped sofa on the 2nd level, with good view of the dancefloor. seated there means you have to spend at least 2k php at the club, which isn't really difficult if you open a bottle of hard liquor.

Alternatively, get some "soju" bottles and soft drinks mixer, would be enough as well to get you to a nice alcoholic high.

saw some groupies of chicks, but didn't really attack. Many many koreans.

problem with manila is. if they found out you are a foreigner the girl or manager will charge you very expensive. still best way is to have fun in massage parlor. room is usually fix while tip to the girl is around 1.2k-1.5k php

you can find most of the massage parlor with extra service at quezon avenue. but be extra careful when commuting in the area.

Wished I had more to report but ... was pretty boring trip the last time.

Spent most of my time in Hong Kong unfortunately for business but thankfully the weather wasn't as cold as I expected it to be.

When I got back to Manila, went for a Halloween party at Palladium which unfortunately SUCKED. Crowd was mostly static, music wasn't great, and not many "chai" to bio.

So for the guy who asked about New World -- the hotel itself is pretty nice, and it's a great location (just next to green belt) but I wouldn't go to palladium again if I can help it not when there are much better clubs like republiq, opus and insomina / zzyzx around.

If you're looking for NEAR action at new world, just hang out at havana's , there are many easy pick ups there, or the star bucks next to it. I think most of the WLs have migrated there due to the fact (it could very well be a rumor, haven't investigated myself) that you need now to buy a drink if you want to sit at the havana tables. Or take a short cab ride to P burgos

i'll be at new world next week. if i feel lazy, i just hang in the greenbelt 3 area - havana. if you care to explore, take a cab to manila bay cafe (mbc).

IMHO, massage parlors are good only if you're either in a hurry (need something that will end promptly within 2-3 hours) or if you're tired and don't want to go out hunting (like after a long day's work)

Otherwise, please take a trip down to MBC (manila bay cafe, ask taxi, if they don't know, say LA cafe), loads of chicks there, and you can definitely find the occasional hottie. Or EDSA, P Burgos for gogo bars which are more expensive but you get to drink and select while the girls dance in skimpy outfits.

Or hang out in the forums (like this one!) long enough and PM the regulars asking for contacts... :p

Lots to do in pinoyland (aka candyland) just need to plan a bit for it and you won't be disappointed.

But yes, if you do want to go to a MP, quezon avenue is pretty much the place to check out the action. Kremlin, Sylvanus etc.. are all good joints.
