MBC - well, not good quality, but you get 'em cheaper and have better choice + no bar fine ..

30 mins is not much, in Philippine scene .. even 1 hour is norm .. wait till you see the traffic on some days .. :eek:

Well, 6K can get you two nights of fun, or worse case, atleast one night of great fun .. in mid-range

MBC girls negotiate for 2,500 but you end up giving them more .. plus your drinks ..

my benchmark is max 6,000 per night = 200 S$, the price that gets me ST (though in Manila, we talk of LT, rarely we encourage ST .. )

Dos and don't - read up the forums .. LOL

ANd never pay in advance, don't keep stuff lying aruond if you pick bar girls, keep only the bare nessecities, don't invite strangers from the street, especially you are new, avoid making contact with people who insist they must give you a good time - including guys who claim to be guard in your hotel .. etc. etc. and avoid blaring your from-address - T shirt that says Singapore is an open invite for scammers to start chatting - "yo, we met in Singapore, remember ?? "

And again, some people have had luck with OKTs, though, those who got taken for a ride and wiped clean rarely reveal their loss ..

I have been there, nearly, when a taxi driver drove me, and the bar we walked in asked me to pay a 1,000 peso entry fee - for me and my "FRIEND" - seems the driver struck a quickie deal to make some money off me .. I walked off, and still ended up paying the driver 500 peso for the drive .. I dread to think what would have transpired if I had had a few drinks and picked a girl - the drivers' 'service fee' may have been 3,000 peso or more .. money I would rather pay for a pimpette (ask me what it is. . ;) ) plus I get to have good times with pimpettes, di ba ?

heys all.. im back from manila..

sadly i didnt get any action there..

i did went to the starbucks at greenbelt as it was very near to my hotel literally 3mins away.. was there around 10.30pm, rather crowded.. saw many ladies sitting around the area.. walk pass a few, they greeted with a hi, but sadly mostly CMI, didnt know how to approach also.. lol.. did see a few ladies that are obviously non FLs.. but they were gorgeous! of course i didnt wanna insult them and a pick-up maybe a little time consuming as i got to wake up by 6am the next day. walked around the area wanting to find phoenix massage, but couldnt seem to find it.. taxi drivers tried to entice me on the car to bring to drinking, but i remembered bros here warned on that move. so i gave them a friendly wave indicating No to them.

decided to retire back to the room at 11pm as it was bringing me no where and i didnt wanna travel too far, went back to the room and googled phoenix address and somehow it is very near to my hotel and i remembered walking pass it earlier, the JVC sign.. very tempted to walk down again.. but sleep got the better of me.. retired slightly after midnight.

nvm i guess. i will be visiting manila next month again. hopefully i can get lucky. oh.. i remembered walking phoenix but that place seems dead.. anyone know whether its still in operation?

P Burgos sounds like fun; there are FLs there izzit? How long of a travel time by taxi from Dusit Thani? I googled, but only found the road.

I only have a few hours, so prefer to max it than sitting in a taxi. That's why prefer nearby locations.

What does ST, LT and barfine mean?

Dusit Thai -> Cafe Havana can actually just walk, almost sheltered all the way some more. If take taxi, don't pay more than 40 php.

@Lennyberg, the greenbelt, starbucks area have to be careful, the ones sitting down are usually ok. but the ones strolling around on the "periphery" are mostly LB or lady bois or "bakla" so just make sure your gaydar is on...

@deathglider, i think a trip to MBC will more than open your client's eyes. may even make them impressed with your "kang tow" knowledge. The area around MBC may be somewhat lackluster but the place is definitely rocking. Worth a visit or TWO if you can spare the travel time from manila (30-45 mins by taxi). Some have likened it to Rio.. dunno how true that is since i've never been. The only other "rio" i know is a spa called that in Macau..

yea manila very nice, very "christmas-y". Bright lights, big decor and loud songs. Sadly, during this time, everyone wants more tips as well. and if you're doing biz, you would know as well that it's mandated that all filipino employees get a 13th month bonus (by law , no less) in the month of Dec. Think this law was passed during marcos' time...

err .. P Borgus - have bar fine - you pay a fixed amount like 5,000 peso to get the girl out, and then negotiate with the girl - the girls may expect anything between 3,000 to 5,000 or more and more .. on top of the barfine.

Now .. some like it, some like to pass the number to the girl and pray she turn up at the hotel (some do, most get drunk or get barfined by other guy so no score .. )

Now, back to Havana, yes, Havana does have an occasional super-convincing LB, and they get their drinks .. and which brings another matter - the girls in Havana may start off with higher rates, especially those regulars ..

And now .. Havana is a normal cafe / bar with some FLs hanging around .. and the FLs, based on your body language - may suddenly freeze up and cry rape - no kidding, never happened to me, but seen a ang moh become red face when the girl asked loudly 'you think I am a whore ?? '

So play safe

Now MBC ? well, MBC is full of FLs, but the quality and quantity varies, base on time of day, day of month ..

If your priority is to score and score - don't waste time in Manila - go to AC - if one bar sucks, another one will make you happy

bring back - most hotel don't care, some may ask to register the detail. and for waking up with all your stuff intact - depend on how street smart you are ..

ah, well, some time the girls quitely sms the room number and a fake-raid does happen - can be settled for 30,000 peso or so .. and that's the thrill of picking up real street walkers ..

Or when you get into a cab, out of the shadow a stranger will jump into the front seat and the girl wil insist that guy is her bodyguard ..

Bro etsys, thanks again for ur replies. I guess P Burgos is too expensive; probably will go to Havana to look-see first with my female friend tomoro evening. If it looks good, will send my friend and let her go home with her friend. I check her friend's photos on Fb, CMI.

Btw, what's the going rate at Havana? I don't want to offend any FL and have them suddenly create a scene.

If I don't get lucky, that's money saved for another "safer" boinking session. I seriously don't fancy the thought of having a fake raid, etc happening. Heheh... Call me risk-adverse.

Bro, they usually make it very easy for you. Just walk around slowly, anywhere around Greenbelt and keep your eyes open. Any woman who smiles at you, approach her and start a conversation. A simple 'How are you today?' will do. They are quite straightforward and make it known in a nice way what they want. The more 'aggressive' ones will even talk to you or run after you..
Pick-up can be less than 10 minutes, if you can settle the money aspect.
As one Bro said before in this thread, Manila is not the place to spend the night alone. You can get any type of woman you like. It's up to you to pick and choose.
And if you click, she'll give you her number so next time, you just text her and don't have to hunt again..
