all the shuttle bus or coach only goes to gongbei custom ..:confused:

ok, is look good from outside, thot of stay this hotel too, bro tin tin, what do you think? it still near jinsha, wangfu and LHL....
By the way, what the cost for this hotel? cos to me it look like 5 star?can bro advise....:p

important thing is that the hotel is safe, clean and confortable ...

we orledi fly budget airline to macau ... don't want to stay in budget hotel ..
afterward, they said we have to pay extra to use the shower in the room .. :eek:
or pay extra for pillows and blankets ... :D

The 直通车 service Bro Pimp refer to is book thru the counter inside macau airport & it dun travel by gongbei custom...

Still like staying in ChangAnn Good World as it's cheap & clean...


Hahahaha..nay u dun have to pay extra for any of this (pillow & blankets)...but u do have to pay for the meimei u r huging as bloster...:D

Bro l3est and I stayed at Jia Li Wan Hao Hotel, formerly known as Jin Jia Li before the renovation.

That hotel we had tim sum, as bro pimp replied, is 粤海, (Yuehai). The lobby has recently been renovated so it looks new and grand from the outside. But I heard that not all guest rooms have been renovated. Do ask for newly renovated rooms if you stay there as I heard some rooms are terribly old. Definitely not 5 star.

If you want to stay near LHL, 2 obvious choices are Chang An Hao Shi Jie and Jinyu Hotel. Main differences are size of room and bathtub. Chang An's room is smaller compared to Jinyu. Jinyu has a massage bathtub for 豪商房 while Chang An do not have. As I said before, Jinyu's rooms getting older, maintenance not as good as Chang An. If you are into Japanese culture, Chang An got Japanese-themed rooms on their top 2 floors. Choice is urs.

There are direct buses going via 横琴. If I remember correctly, look for the the counter name 海威 at the macau airport. There are hourly fixed times departure everyday. But if you can cross the Gong Bei customs before 5pm, it should not be so crowded as ur last trip. Peak hours are usually after 6pm when all the mainlanders return home. Normally on an off peak day, I can cross in half an hour.

my best recommendation is chang an new world (hao shi jie), the best priced, best maintained and clean, convenient to LHL and most ktv. in my opinion, all within walking distance to LHL, jin sha, wang fu, chang an ju le bu, xi ri qing huai, etc. basically everything i need, they have.

for yuehai, i always tot they're quite old.

jinyu, i think it's not so clean compared to chang an. that jinyu hotel is actually not a proper hotel. only some floors belong to the hotel. some floors are offices. it's weird right? not the whole building is the hotel... so i dun like the idea that anyone can be there. but chang an is solely a hotel by itself. so. there should be no one else but in house guests. plus the security is quite good.

i think we had this discussion about hotels some time ago too right? haha... i think bro break also posted some valuable info on hotels.

morning all bro, seem like all talk aobut hotel this two pages. The last trip i went is stay at chong an good world as recommended by bro tin tin, it look old from outside, but it ok and new and clean when you get inside the room, thet have china and japanese styles room for you to choose from, i took up on china room with friend and bro tintin,As bro still like this hotel, guess will same for me next trip, but will try the japanese one and is on high floor...
To me, we need a good hotel to stay, even we dont have the whole day in the hotel,haviing said that, like bro adidas88 said, we flight budget air, now we should stay in good and cheap hotel, so we can rest better for next day bettle.Guess like the next trip, all the bro to going on 16 may to 23 may, will stay in diiferent hotel, by change, can we put up together same hotel since we r going to meet up there?just a thot only bro........otherwise....

yes, bro bonk88, good suggestion. stay either same hotel or close by hotels. so easier to meet up for FR discussions and to gather for our battle! i think if bro adidas wanna stay at yuehai, thats pretty close too. so, guess it's still convenient. but if u ask me, i'll still surely stay at chang an new world. most convenient and best value for money. very self contained and sufficient. no risk on this one. i prefer the business rooms, i dun like the jap rooms.

eh.... bro adidas, how come still havent come online yet? not his usual habit... hehehhehe......

me and bro tarma was at macau custom/immigration but we did not go through them ... we went to the 2nd floor but could not find the 直通车to 横琴 custom border ....

our jetstar flight only touched down in macau at 1745hrs ... no way we can reached gongbei custom before 6pm ...

that's the most expensive bloster i've ever paid for ... :D

but agreed if staying near LHL .... all the entertainments are nearby ...
and also easy for ST with the mei mei's at LHL ...:D
