I did not go during the typhoon season. I went in Feb 2011 last year. As long as you go during the 'dry' season. It should be ok.

interesting .. then again, every concrete road in Ph seem to have a 1 year life span, as I am seeing around Bauko area .. the roads get washed off after every storm .. and takes a year to fix it, so the next storm can wash it off :)

or maybe it's got something to do with the DPWH - where they want to give more contracts, so they split it so the sections are all done by multiple parties .. at multiple project schedules ..

Damn, been here a week, it's been hell.

Got here, got ragingly sick. luckily had an antibiotic with me and got past it. But have had to work from 10 PM till 3 AM every night, deploying software. Then meetings during the day at new prospects. Finally got out to Greenbelt tonight and Cafe Havana is definitely "a spot". Unfortunately had to leave for work right after, no time to sample the local delicacies.....however there were some certified dime pieces there for the taking. Any other spots like that around here?

Looking at work hell for two more days and then finally maybe thurs and friday night to hang out and have a good time. No beach/diving fun for me this time. Too bad.

For medical remedies, any mercury drug pharmacy will be happy and ready to supply you with medicine that you normally require a prescription for back in sillypore. Just say that you have taken or used it before without any side effects.

Your busy hours strikes out quite a few places already sadly. Though you can still check out MBC especially since in Dec , there will be more girls looking for quick cash to supplement their Christmas income, di ba? Go during normal office hours to catch those that skip school if you're into SYTs (then again, not sure who isn't)

Or arrange with a FL timing etc if you know where to look.

Well, I know you are a veteran, hence your quick retort "not sure who isn't" :D

For newbies, every other girl in MBC will claim to be a student, just that they forget to mention they have been a student for the past few years, stuck in second gear .. ;)

But, hey, don't go around digging deep and try to understand the course she is doing, just focus on the Intercourse ;)

but yes, i've heard the "studying, but had to stop school because no money" line many a time @ MBC . the same studying girl i know has been trying to earn her tuition fees for 1 year!

and there's also "need to pay rent, so i'm only doing this today, first time!"

guess the lines would work for those who don't frequent MBC , otherwise you can definitely call their bluff, many many times

but anyway, i guess they add color to the scene, otherwise there's nothing to talk about on this forum, lol

Many years ago when I ORDed from the army and went to take up a computer course at Informatics..... I met a young pinay girl from Manila who came here to take the same course. After the course ended, I found work with my certificate. The pinay stayed on to do another course. And when that course ended, she took up another and another and another. When I next met her about 6 years later, I was surprised she was still on a student pass and studying. She then told me she dun intend to stop studying as she need the student pass to remain in Singapore where her real purpose was working the pubs in Duxton / OT.

the main thing is, she got a sucker to pay for her studies and also be her sponsor :D

And the main reason ICA is strict with student pass is due to above people .. now if you don't clock certain number of days, Student pass revoked, and also, they subject female students to more random pregnancy test / hiv test, and anyway, that's a different story

But, the girls in Manila, the 'students' there probably haven't even step into a school for years .. but claim to be studying or taking break .. earning for next semester ..
