Hi bro, can I check with you on the refunds you got from Scoot & Tiger..... did they refund you the full amount paid or were some fees deducted?

Since I decided to cancel the rescheduled flight with Cebu Pacific...... I opted for the option of full refund. My understanding of full refund is that I would get back every cent of the amount I paid to book the ticket..... but that is not to be. :mad:

This was what the CSO told me..... Since I had booked my ticket by credit card.... it will take about 60 days to refund me my money via the credit card bank..... after deducting the credit card service charge fee from the amount.

Also the insurance portion and booking admin fee is not refundable..... so in actual fact I will only be getting back the seat sale price + taxes.

I had bought the ticket during a promotion sale and the grand total billed to my credit card was S$108.67 .......... after all the deductions the amount I will be getting back for my "Full refund" is about S$56.00 :mad:

If I had known this was the way they calculate the refund..... I would have opted for another option.....ie change to another itinery and top up the difference.

Sorry to hear of your experience..... can't help you here as I've never had any cancelled flight before.

CP seems to be going through a rough patch.... 2 plane crashes in a month and several delays and rescheduled flights becoming a common affair. It did not come as a surprise when the latest ratings for airlines were released that CP came in near the bottom.... ranked even lower than Tiger Airways. They scored a dismal 60% for on time performance which was a drastic drop from their usual percentile range of 85-95% in this area.

Furthermore there has been calls for a review of CP's safety standards and operating procedures and a suspension and/or revocation of their license until corrective measures are put in place.

The picture is clearer now on the circumstances leading to the Candy bar raid. It was a revenge raid by the local CIDG cops and had nothing to do with the NGOs or Manila.

Sometime back a mamasan left the employ of the bar to work for a Korean bar and the usual industry practice is that her girls will follow her to the new place. However, one of her girls refused to follow her and remained working in Candy bar. One afternoon while this girl was on her way to work.... she was accosted by a Korean man and 2 locals near the Candy bar...... the Caucasian bar manager who was on his way to Candy bar happened to see the girl struggling with these 3 men and came to her aid.... it turned out that the 2 locals were CIDG cops.

The bar manager told them to FO and sent the girl back to the Candy bar on his motorbike..... he then went home as he needed to crap. About 10 mins after he reached home.... he was informed of the raid happening at Candy bar. The raiding party brought the new mamasan, the cashier and 31 girls including the earlier girl whom they attempted to accost back to the Criminal Affairs Office in Dau. According to witnesses... some of the raiding party even went into the neighboring bars for "inspection" which is actually an attempt to locate the manager of Candy bar.

When it became apparent this was a revenge raid targeted at the bar manager and the ex-mamasan's girl...... all those arrested were released within hours.
Latest info is that the Candy bar is open for business and operating as per normal.

both scoot and tiger gave me a full refund. meaning the exact amount i paid which showed in the receipts. it took 3-4 weeks for them to refund me.

You should have the entire amount refunded.... not a single cent less. There is no reason for them to deduct any fees or imposed service charges as it was their fault that you have to cancel your trip.

On the 2 occasions that I had to cancel my flights..... I got full refunds on the entire amount that I paid from both Air Asia & Qantas.

True for the most part but sometimes u have to be lucky also so don't know until it happens. I once had twins that came over and it was a real 3some without having to switch condom between the 2-- guess it was family so no need to do so. Almost felt like a porn star:rolleyes: Lol

Some in AC are also Lesbians or Bi so have to ask them who they will go with for 3some. So 3somes are very possible, But be prepare for the fact that the partner they choose may not be to your liking (many of their partners are fruglies and some of their partners are LBs:eek:)
