this is the old raid in MBC / LAC in 2010, when Mayor Lim was in a rush to fill his war-chest .. not new ..

and the 200 includes the waiters, waitresses, cooks, bartenders, band members and all .. apparently all were trafficked, since the management refused to pay some 'taxes'

It's a bit of a bummer I was in Patts when the excitement unfolded in AC.

becoz if its really the law, manila itself will b affected, whole of Edsa will close down. More than 90% of the businesses in Burgos will also close !

all the clubs fronting Roxas will shut.

Every single KTV from Cubao to Quezon City to Air Force 1 all tutup since every single one of these establishment has the infamous 'bar fine' system in place.

Some info that came in you guys may like to know.

Apparently there was a directive to the AC cops to conduct 1 raid + 5 inspections every week. So there will be weekly raids now. Which will be the lucky bar next week?

There has also been a representation put up for City Hall to cease issuing licenses to the AC bars...... this will be in discussion at the next Congress meeting.

I like to welcome Chris to our thread. Had the pleasure to meet him when I was at one of his monthly buffet sessions.
Tequila Reef Cantina is in my opinion one of the better eating outlets in AC. Price reasonable and taste great for our taste. I like his ribs and the tacos. Best of all is eye candy from his waitresses and his personal touch whenever he is around. If you want to sing, then check out Suave that's upstairs.
Tequila Reef Cantina is located on A Santos, just between Swiss Chalet and Kokomos. Diagonally across from Crystal Palace.
Chris, we have a cordial thread here. Warm and friendly. It's good to have the AC veterans and "who who" around but we do need patience and understanding of the difference of culture and attitudes of the Asian and Westerners. Similar reminder to our own regulars to understand each other.

My sentiments exactly.

As I said before, I feel that AC is just an excuse, like a scapegoat for action to be taken.

The laws are always there but why is it enforced in one place & not others?
