I am not sure also cause my gf flew back to MN in a plane with 3 - 3 - 3 configuration instead of 3 - 3. So I though it might be the B777. Maybe it is the Airbus 330 she is taking about.

yah, the A330-300 are configured 3-3-3 (436 seats in all), one of the most densest seating arrangement .. instead of the normal 2-4-2 that most airlines kit the 330-300 ..

and at 436 seats, it is a bit shy of the 4 class seating of the Airbus A380 of SQ and EK and QF

that's why better buy PR or SQ ticket, and sure you will go there ..

Budget carrier all have clause to reschedule flights.

If you die die want to travel, go to Cebu Pac office and they can refund the cost.

PS: My September trip pushed to Next year ..

I have a flight from SIN to MNL also..but lucky the flight change is only in the flight number like 5J800 to 5J900 like that. Departure time and date are still the same. I heard that they have change the single asle airbus to the bigger B777 for some flights and maybe the reason for the aircraft change. I not taken B777 on Cebu Pacific yet though.

B777 for SIN-MNL??? it's 1 of the longest aircraft with good sitting capacity, but for such a short distance flight, seems a big pity lah

Pst: you saw my post ? Cebu Pac bought A330-343x, not 777s ;)

And still at 400 plus seats, the 330's are high density config ..

I wanted to check in online to addon baggage but could not find my flight. After some searching on their website with my confirmation number then I found they had shifted my flight to Sun (SG-CLK) / Wed (CLK-SG)
KNN I am unable to fly on those dates and the CCB airline dun even have the courtesy to notify me.!

bro, i can totally understand your frustration, but this is usually the problem with low cost carriers. in all their T&C, its always a fine print clause that states that the airline reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the flights without prior notice bla bla bla.

for low cost carrier, i'd rather not stinge on that few dollar difference, to have myself booked on airasia (voted best budget carrier) or tiger (sg owned airline). at least they both have a reputation to uphold or salvage.

we can also consider ourselves lucky that cabin crews & airport staff in our region do not suka suka go on strike like some european airlines. over there, u could be paying top dollar for business class on some flagship carrier, and the flight may not even leave the tarmac.

ya bro, just saw your reply about the A330... anyway, i dont think i wanna take my chances with CP anytime soon. though airasia doesnt fly SIN-CRK for the time being, maybe can take a chance on tiger, or at the least pray & hope for airasia to schedule flights to CRK again.

meanwhile, can give the machine gun a short break to recover & stockpile ammo. once the flight schedules come back in our favor, get in the dropzone & spray ammo again.

I am in Manila now and I flew in on the A320 which is 3-3-3. Most flights I took with Cebu Pacific are full but my flight to MNl is only half full actually...I have the whole center row 3 seats to myself at Row 5. LOL!
