Re: Phillipines, Manila, Makati Happenings

Something I saw on another website (sort of a warning .. ) in Dubai !

I had great fun chatting with Cindy. She claims to be from the Bahamas and is available in the greens apartment, street 6, al alka 3, building opposite tecom Dubai. She offers her services for the incredible price of 600 per hour when the going rate for such a beauty in reality would be well in excess of 1,000 per hour based upon her picture. But she doesn't have whatsapp and doesn't have any means to prove herself genuine. Apparently showing yourself to be genuine on skype is a big no no in her professional world but fucking for money is a big yes yes.

And then somebody chimes in ..

Funny, I got the number of a girl who also claimed to be in Greens, Street 6, Al Alka 3. She sent me pics of a known FHM Brazilian girl which I called her out on. And then she disappeared from Whatsapp ever since.

my 2 cents, unless you are picky and looking for 'super hot', '7 star girls' .. you can be spoilt for choices

Doesn't mean you have to accept baby elephants or skunks, but .. in the mid category, there are too many to count

yellow5001 has given you a breakdown of options ;)

Dear etsys and fellow bros,

Sounds like i am writing a email here, I have been reading some of the recent posts, and really appreciate the contributions by you guys, to have a better understanding of local PH cheonging scenes.

To cut the story short, i am gonna make my first trip to Pinayland and i am very nervous and anxious, to make thing worse (if i may say), it will be a solo trip, i am suppose to go with one of my bro but he got into an accident and is unfit to travel for now. So far i have been to M'sia, China, Thailand... but not PH yet... I will be in PH this weekend, from 22/5 for 4d3n staying at Heritage Hotel, Pasay.

Just to ask,
1) Is it safe (generally) to hang around in LA Cafe, EDSA, P Burgos Bar, AF1 alone?
2) EDSA seems very near to my hotel, LAC not far away, can anyone advise the exact location of P Burgos Bar and AF1? Is AF1 a KTV or a HC like Poseidon/Emmanuel in Thailand? I was a bit confuse reading some of the earlier post.
3) Is there any ST hotel to recommend in Pasay and Makati?
4) Anyone knows if there is any extra charges (by hotel) to bring the FL back to my hotel?
5) Any particular taxi company i shld be avoiding?

I also hope to explore Makati, Green Belt 3, Havana area if traffic is not too bad, but it seems bad all the time now according to bros here.

Thanks for your reply in advance :)

1) Yes, safe but be careful with time spent at high end KTVs like Af1, money can b burnt pretty fast esp if u dont know what u r doing or act like a newbie at KTVs.

When going KTVs, act like a regular ie b able to quote a mami or daddys name when asked, otherwise u will kena the 'newbie' prices.

Edsa, LA Cafe, Burgos all should b fine. Burgos and Edsa will b exactly like AC scene.

2) From Heritage, time for u to go to LA Cafe will approx same time u go to AF1. 15 to 30 mins tops depending on rush or no rush hour. Burgos will b further out towards Makati side. Add maybe 10 mins to the ride. No need to know exact location lar, u not driving right ? U just need a cab driver who runs meter and tell them P Burgos Street or tell them Air Force 1, any driver should know where these joints r. For Edsa, u can just walk there from Heritage Hotel

3) If u r already in Heritage, just bring the gal back to Heritage lar, why need another ST hotel ? Heritage is gal friendly.

4) Not Heritage

5) you should ask is there any taxi drivers u should b avoiding ? Not taxi companies. taxi drivers i avoid r those assholes who refuse to run meters. i would always take ONLY those who use meter and give them a PHP 20 or 30 tip at the end.

you can hang around in LA Cafe, but P Burgos is a street full of bars, don't know what you mean by hang around ;)

AF1 is a KTV, so go, get what you want, do what you like and leave ..

yep, Edsa is just across your hotel.

As for AF1 and the likes, google "thegentlemansclub manila" (Moderator dont' like posting link to AF1)

If you are picking in Pasay etc, I wouldn't bother to go check into an ST Hotel

Though you can look up Sogo Hotels - they have everywhere

http://www.hotelsogo.com/

However, if it's your first time to Manila, it can be a bit scary, as the hotels are in some nook and it's common to see street kids and older fellows loitering, and trying to chat you up to suck some money out of you etc. etc.

Safest, unless you are picking up a possible scam artist (i.e. those under age, and such .. ) back to the hotel .... the hotel won't bother, especially Heritage - I know some guys who stayed there, and every day they returned with one or two different girls, the reception, at the minimum, will ask for the girl to be registered, for identity,

Not that I know of, unless you book a twin occupancy and then bring in 3 or 4 girls back :p happened to me once .. in a 3 star hotel though .. and I was asked to pay, when I was checking out..

The coloured taxis are run by companies and dependable, reasonably, and will on the meter when asked (or most of the time, without asking)

Those pure white ones are owner-operated, so drivers have no qualms insisting meter broken, or asking for 1,000 peso for a 100 peso ride. Or purposely getting you stuck on a jam, for 2 hours, to make you offer the asked price to take a short cut.

http://www.philippinestaxiservice.com/

The first page has some 'company taxis' vs owner-operator taxis

Actually, Manila, being the capital of a country of 100 million, has the worst possible traffic, and on d daily basis

Makati - P Burgos, to Green Belt, on a regular morning and evening, can take 30 minutes to 1 hour- when in reality, if you walk you can reach faster

Other times, it's not more than 10 minutes or so

Another time, from Makati to Mall of Asia took 3 hours plus (not kidding)

return, not even 25 minutes

That's Manila.

It has all the bling bling, high society and next to it, the shanties, street kids, people living on over head bridges, children with dirty clothes sleeping next to ABS-CBN's polished door, and just 100 feet from Posh 5 star hotels, you can see couples living in Tricycles and sleeping on the road itself

If you have been to other third world countries, it wont be a shocker, if not, it maybe a bit scary

As always, you are going on a roaming / local sight seeing mission, troll the malls leave valuables at hotel, carry a cheap local phone with local sim

Snatching of phones etc is very common, most cases don't get reported - don't ask me why.

Most important, have fun, so if carrying a iphone is going to make you jittery, leave it in the hotel

If you are scared of wallet getting snatched, just buy a cheap wallet, carry just enough cash, and leave important stuff behind (seasoned foreigners living in Manila call it 'snatch wallet' - they don't care if the wallet gets snatched.. )

Likewise, a lot of foreigner living in Manila use a 'local' phone - a 30 $ nokia phone with local sim - if it gets snatched, or somebody pulled a knife and took it from you, you don't have to worry about it (other than loss of girl contacts) then again, local thieves are known to be nice and often return the SIM card, if asked nicely :p

If you believe you can survive, and rough, it out, just do it :D

Hi Bro, was in Malate over the weekend and had some good time overall. In LA cafe on Sat and the place was packed with standing room at 3.30 am. Girls of all sorts can be found there. Spend most time on the 2nd floor where there are live band. Was quoted 2K for ST (3hrs) and ON for 3k. There seem to have more pretty girls on the upper floor or maybe it might be the better lighting. Hehehe.:p:p. i did got a ST and not that i want to spend the entire time in the room. I went to check out Calle 5 for some get to know each other and light food followed by nice live band at cowboy grill. These 2 places was just a stone throw from LA Cafe. All in, enjoyed my field trip and i am alone too.:D:D

Second floor has a lot of girls who only screw japs or korean ..

Second floor opens in the evening, so .. the idea of 'better' talent in second floor is there.

But in the ground floor, day time can turn up some nice gems, though be careful, there are UA sometimes.

she will take care of u.

take out PHP 6K with min 2 ladies drinks of php 600 each. the rest all ur own food n drink costs. tips for mami about 300 to 500, waiter 100.

or like estys suggest, u can go the cheaper route ie LA Cafe. but i have always found LA Cafe more of a dog pound ie have to stay dem long or pray dem hard to get a looker in there . hehe. and i am short of time.

You forgot the price of your coke :p

A little tip when going to bars, if you plan to pick up, avoid anything except beer, or coke..

Unless you are in a decent bar

A lot of bars Keep opened bottles for months, sometimes, and whiskey etc taste like acid

Yellow5001, yes, LA cafe is a dog pound, plus don't forget those girls who only want to go with Japanese or Koreans... which is most of the cute ones...
