Need to ask how do we "Search" the whole forum for some info, so that newbies like me will not post something already asked or discussed before.

newbies.. you cannot post in the following forum..

1. Private section forum - you need to subscibe and be a paid member to access it.

2. The Sammyboy link/Picture exchange Plaza - you cannot reply to a post. you can however start your own thread.

3. Coffee Shop Talk of a non sexual Nature is not an open forum. It contains RSS feed from Sam's Alfresco Coffee - Powered by vBulletin

And please note that until you are out of moderation. Your post will not appear immediately in all forum with the exception of the newbie section.

but i reckon you could still do that...with probably lesser PM space..

the long term solution is to get out of moderation... it can be done quickly.
all you need is a few constructive post in the other section and you will be out of it soon...;)

Hi,
Just would like to know usually how long(Duration) or how many FR does a newbie need to have, to be out of moderation ? thanks

It's all automated. The script matches your posting patterns against a set of parameters. When conditions are met, you're out of moderation.

Re: Newbies HELPLINE.. Newbies Please post your question here.

mate..

1. usually about 5-10 posts
2. you need a couple of days from registration date.
3. post constructively and please note that posting in the newbie and soccer section are not added to your overall number of post[/B])

also learn how to use the search feature..
sam has answered this question many times..

----------------
The process of removing moderation from a new account is fully automated. Humans play no part in the process. It's done by a software script.

If x + y > z, moderation is removed

x = number of posts ( usually about 5-10 posts)
y = number of days since signing up.
z = parameter designed to detect spammers.
