Hey guys, any hotels to recommend near/at P Burgos? Stayed at Oxford Suites before and wasn't a pleasant experience though location wise was good, right smack in the middle of the action and lots of convenience stores and makan places. Also, there are smoking rooms and girls would have to surrender ID at the lobby before going up to your rooms.

Any reviews on Bellagio? There's a live band every night iirc, wonder if it's loud enough when I'm trying to sleep. Lol.

Budget? Unless you don't mind the noise, almost every hotel at low cost is noisy. I used to stay in great Eastern, bit up the road, and citadel. Worst was prime. Maybe the new ones have better sound insulation

Budget around $70/night, preferably walking distance to P Burgos. Surprisingly, Oxford Suites which is a few metres away from Bellagio wasn't too noisy at night, but maybe cos I stayed on a high floor. Booked Great Eastern for my Pinay friend before, she said the room was old and scary, haha.

On another note, went to a pub in P Burgos with green sign near a corner (forgot the name), bypassed bar fine and deal directly with the girl to come by my room after her work and settled for around 3 to 4K pesos iirc. Does is work in other pubs like that too?

Ermita seemed like a ghetto-ish place, was followed by 2 local guys but fortunately I was with my Pinay friend and nothing happened. Checked out LA Cafe (24 hrs?), decent live band on the 2nd floor and lots of FL girls roaming around. Saw a few stunners but wasted, I already had company.

If you guys wanna relax and go to a clean Korean spa, I'd recommend Lasema Spa near Makati. Can use the dry/wet sauna, jacuzzi, gym facilities etc for 12 hours and plus an hour's massage for less than 2000 pesos iirc.

Depends where you go in Philippines. If in some ulu place, SGD will get bad rate. Anyway you can bring 50k peso now. Change in Arcade or lucky plaza. Never change in airport ...
