This is so true. Nobody told me I'd have such a hard time finding jobs when one is over 40 years old. To think at the height of my career earnings i made $10k a month to today <$3k after age 40 is just mind bogling.

To add on to my misery I don't even know where all my money went. Even after earning a decent income, i have nothing to show for it other than a 4 room hdb which thankfully i forced myself to buy a few years ago. No savings, no investments, not much in cpf (after paying for the hdb) nothing. I only recall spending a chunck of it on hookers and liquers but i don't recall spending all of it.

No leh. The usual cai png, wanton noodles and occasional japanese bento set. Nothing extremely fancy. I don't own a car either. Not a fan of branded clothes. I like watches own 2 Rolex (one a sub another a pepsi gmt) which i eventually sold at a loss to raise funds for my HDB but that's about it. Really nothing fancy.
