I booked a private taxi thru my gf of several years.

Was charged php 300.

I gv him an additional 100 as tips.

The journey was 20km from Clarke airport.

Now private rental companies charge anywhere between 1200 and 2000 php for that distance.

The trikes @ Fields operate at php 70-100-150 almost depending on how much they believe they can charge u. This is usually the price from Walking Street to HoneyKos and sonetimes further up to Friendship.

But the fare from JJ's Supermarket to K.m. 78, Mac Arthur Highway, City of San Fernando 20 km away is also php 200.

Body massages of the cleaner variety can be had at php 200 per hour.

As an example you have Studio 23.

There are several others that offer php 175/199 during happy hours that end by 4pm

I never fail to do my mani/pedi and hair cuts while in A.C.

For me, I normally traveled up along main gate friendship route to dau terminal using jeepney. The price is about 7 peso for first 4 Km. If travel to san fernando from dau terminal is about 30 peso.

The driver provide change if you don't have the exact fare. If you want to alight, just shout 'Para' (Tagalog for stop).

Yes, your right

Dau to San Fernando by jeepney is php 30, but that does not use the MacArthur highway where i would like to alight.

I therefore have to take 3 jeeps.....:o

First the blue jeep

Then the yellow

Lastly the silver colored....

With no respite from the sweltering heat, the heavens not about to open up any time soon ( the rains) , it's torture.

The skies opened up around 530 pm this evening and that has brought the temperature down a bit.


I was at SM Pampanga aka Pampanga Shopping Paradise, changed money here. Din fancy a ride all the way back to AC. The rate a measly 33.30.


So guys visiting the country side please remember to change money in town (AC) so as, to get better rates.
