:D :D I know I will get arrow for being carrot head, but, come on lah - 150 $ not much what :D

My next trip, planning already to ditch my 'escort / bodyguards' and head to Icon .. :D

Every trip, I spend little time in Manila / Makati - most time outside ... for my dive trips ..

no fixed place - twice in Peurto Galera, once in Palawan Dos Palmas, twice in Boracay, and waiting to go to Coron or some place like that.

The hate is spending too much to fly to Coron or too long by surface and that's putting me off.

I am not a wreck diver, just recreational open water diver ...

Did you do any dives in Phil ?

Just a quick report. Went to Havana last night. Reached there around 8 pm, picked a good table outside and ordered a drink and dinner. The gals started to come in around 9pm and by 11 pm, the place was pretty packed. There were about 15-20 gals all sitting in groups watching out for potential customers. As usual, most of them are in their mid 20s and above. I only saw about 3-4 which I would personally choose. Mostly typical pinay looks, maybe a couple with fair skin chinese looks.

At around, 9.30pm, after my 2nd drink, went up and chat with a 25 year old lady and we left at 1am. The place is pretty much the same as before. Sorry, not much exciting details. Maybe I will try ICON tonight : ) Cheers...

Well, I had only one dive at Dos Palmas, been to Puerto Galera twice but didnt dive, boracay once; more like snorkeling.

Dont know where is Coron but hear El Nido is nicer than Dos Palmas.

PG is good during the off season but be prepared for dive-curfew when the wind picks up - once I had to be literally yanked off when the water started to peak at 1 meter waves (and my telling the boat guys that I been in 3 meter waves cut no ice - they are safety conscious to extreme - that's one good thing with the dive masters and dive assistants there .. hat's off ) :D

Coron is the Island North of Palawan near El Nido - There is an airport Busuanga but with the air fares sky high, it is a big turn off - and am not a fan of the cheap option - 2 day ferry - with the safety record, flying a 15 year old Plane seem safer ..

El Nido is damn nice, provided there was a cheaper way to get there, or the alternate of 8 to 9 hours from PP is a killer ... Maybe I need to save money and head there next year ...

Google the photos of El Nido and see what you get - you will not hear, you will believe 'em ..

My company will relocate me manila to do some survey for some near future investment. Will be there after CNY on monthly basis till they decide what to do next. Hope to meet up some senior bro to learn more. Really appreciate if I can receive some pointers.

Thanks in advance.

bro sugardad; If you are going to be stationed there, fret not - it is not going to be tough: after your first visti there - you will be like shooting fish in a barrell :)

make your trip and then you can decide to explore the low, medium and upper class areas, and work your ways into freebies :D

BTW, your location really next to lucky plaza ha ?? :D

Re: phillipines, manaila, makati

Actually, I already too much pinas with me, asawa also pinas, cavit also pinas, GF also pinas. Too much to handle:o . Business should be primary production related. May do a baboi farm in San Mateo area, 2nd hand HP distribution in manila and also casto oil plantation in Tarlac . but too much things to figure out.

Also , hoping to start my own restaurant Marikina area. Asawa and myself are pretty good cook, Should think abt selling Ba Ku Teh:) . Anyway, like you say, go first and survey.

Hows the golfing scene there, charges and etc.
