I passed by the place, look more like TCM leh. Don't look like spa at all. Around that block can only see 2 shops - the TCM and the spa.

Anyone tried those beauty salon massage? Pretty relax seem like moving to spa concept. Anyone went ? Their upper floor is 2 units so it's quite big

Seems like many new spas are popping up in tpy. And starting price 58 for 60. Seems like these spa operators are pushing up the price, based on demand perhaps....since no geylang, no ktv, no jb.....but when covid over, God knows when, price should revert back to normal.

In the meantime, I guess it's income opporfor them .

True enough, some TCM charge $60 per hour, and $50 gets only 45 minutes. Not sure what is the logic since spa is charging $50 and with better facilities... maybe the TCM MLs are more "genuine" in their pressing ?? :rolleyes:

now they have no competition from geylang and jb, once back to normal, there will be consolidation....if price don't come down , then shops will close. Simple economics law

actually you might be surprised some people just go the joints convenient and near their place. Even the price is raised slightly they'll still go.

Same as i will sometimes still go 50+50 massage in west area though can get better deal elsewhere. Convenience and nearby.
