Hi all bros,

Planning a maiden trip to manila soon. Have read this thread from page 1 and got some precious information. However still not confident and quite confuse on the cheonging culture. Below are some questions on the respective fields. BTW we have 5 days and 4 nights.

AF1

1) Isn't this place solely for massage ?
2) Anyone can tell me what's the concept in AF1 ? Very blur leh.

KTV
I know KTV can be quite expensive in Manilla. But its fun if you go with a group of friends. Our objective is to have fun in the private room (With naked girls of course :D).
1) Any recommendations ? Preferably of higher standards of cha bo :D. Read that "Asian Entertainment" is a ripoff. Anyone beg to defer ?
2) Do they have chinese songs just like our KTV ?
3) Can anyone provide an estimation cost for 4 pax ? With around 2 bottles of whiskey plus the whole night fun excluding BF.

Please let me know if my understanding of the KTV concept is wrong as from what i read, mostly do not play in rooms.

Read on EDSA, MBC, Havana & Burgos. Likely to visit EDSA and Havana only as they sound safer. My question is : any happening clubs (disco) that they like to go after work ?

Most likely to pay this joint a visit. Objective is to drink and to have fun and to watch the live "show" :D. Once again not necessarily to tabao.
1) Is this a KTV or a bar where there's stage for the live show ? Also quite blur on the concept here.
2) Anyone can PM me the contacts over there so as we don't look like 4 big carrots walking around ?

Clubs
Heard that Icon @ Intercon is not bad. How about Republiq ? Any other decent clubs where you can hook up with the young crowds ?

Traffic
Side track abit, Undertand that the traffic condition is really bad over there. Most likely we will be travelling around the whole time and we really do not want to be stuck in traffic jams 80% of the time.
1) Any advice ?
2) Why is there no postings on people taking MRT ? Is it not convenient at all ?

Hotel
Any nice hotels to recommend based on the areas mentioned ? Budget is around SGD 70 / night.

Please pardon my long list. Just wana do enough research before the maiden trip. I would appreaciate any inputs ;)

thought if you were going to cheong better to go Angeles City for the super wide selection of go go bars and more options

Manila is more for ppl who stop over for business trips and do a bit of cheonging on the side.

Having said that your questions are a bit general, maybe you can ask specific ones, then can help more?

Manila / Makati, is for so-call refine stuff .. whatever that means. .

And they are just 2 hour away anyway .. always, you can do your thing in Manila, and head to AC for a day and then fly back .. ;)

At this present moment, one of my bro (who is also a samster) should be meeting up with me on the 8th, unless he got recall to travel out of Manila.

Another samster have PM me about meeting up on 7th.

So if you are interested, you can give me a PM and we see how to contact one another. I believe there are other samsters there during this period, but they didnt contact me. Anyway even though i traveled to Manila couple of times, i am still a noob in Manila, just a greenhorn.

As for my usual haunt, you can call me a cheap charlie, Haha. There being more laid back as compare to SG, i dun believe in spending more than i need to spend for a bonk in SG....

Pass by Havana Cafe last night around mid night. Both cafe and starbucks packed with people. Quite a few FL too.

typhoon storm yesterday, sunday in manila - apparently some people died up north too :(

guess not many people will complain about orchard room flooding when they see what the storms do to the streets here...

JUst wanna check with bros here, have anyone been to Club Crea along pasong tamo, makati. Saw quite a few syt reporting to work this evening.
