Sorry Ck, maybe i put the wrong word, i mean information for 'healthy' activity. Below are the place i want to go and have check with XGX. But their reply is always 'please come to our office and we will bring you there' - of course, with some charges...:mad:

I can use their (XGX) service but have to follow their schedule, which i prefer to go on my own timing...

Bro, thanks for your advice. This trip going with my family, not going to look for any gals (some drinking session at night only)...Anyway i will be careful whenever i am in china. Will upp your points soon. Thanks:D

I walked to 酒吧街 from my hotel 粵海, not near as like huihua to lucky hotel but distance wise is no issue; but if first time u may get lost.

u'll see a stone sculpture of a mermaid sitting on a rock ...
and that's abt all ... after traveling abt 30 mins to reached there ..
u probably will pass this place when u come down to ZH from CP ..

a romantic walkway beside the sea ..

never heard or been to this place in zh before ...
anyway .. if u like shopping ... there r many shops along and ard LHL area ..
and there's a big underground shopping plaza at gongbei ..
shop until u dropped ...

5. 灣仔海鮮一條街
this is the seafood street ... stalls selling fresh seafood and restaurants will cook for u ....
the last i heard, this place was under renovation ...
anyway .. there's another seafood street ... 南屏路 ...
similar setup like 灣仔海鮮一條街 ...

Remember to 杀价 or bargain even if you think it's already cheap. My buddy was able to bring down the price of a live hairy crab to only 10 rmb and a live grouper to only 50 rmb.

I was also impressed that they actually have live stone fish, pek tor, bamboo clams, abalone, sotong..everything live goosh.

Cooking at any of restaurants is cheap. Just bring in your live purchases in plastic bags and don't have to actually bargain. By the way, 矛台 is just as cheap..nice sipping it with the seafood. Smokers, it is also your paradise..can do it anywhere at the restaurant...enjoy.

WARNING!!!!

To all bros using the Zhuhai/Macau border, there a bunch of crooks that tried to con me today while I was crossing from Zhuhai to Macau, the ploy was a private taxi could send me across the border for a reasonable price. He brought me in a public taxi which he paid for it & drop us at a bus stop, telling me to wait a vehicle with certain no. while he go & buy himself a drink. During this while a well dress person would approach & stand beside me. The 1st guy would return & tell me the vehicle had breakdown & I would have to make my own way. The 2nd guy would introduce himself to me & say he is a doctor & also going to Macau through the second causeway. He would than call his pickup car & ask whether there is space for another person. Then driver pick us up & drive towards the checkpoint & make a stopover & claim to have something important to pickup before driving us through. During the stopover the driver would disappear & there is a 3rd person standing by the street & he would suddenly flash a packet of funny looking dried insect or fish. The so call doctor than say it is something that he has been trying to look for to help cure a patient that he has been treating. He then ask me to go ask that person whether we can have a look. After viewing it the doctor would offer a good price for it but the 3rd person would not sell saying he need it for his father but rather ask the doc to go & look for the person that sold it to him in a restaurant not far away. The Doc would than disappear into the direction pointed by the 3rd guy & would return back with a bunch of it which was not shown to me. The Doc claim he has used up all his money & ask me whether I have money with me & he would give me a handsome profit once we go across the border to his clinic. I smell the rat once this doc was telling this creature cannot be found easily & I told him all I have was a few miserable RMB & I was in a rush of time.
The cost to cross the border in a private car would be at least RMB300 which I found out from a taxi driver in Macau so Bros using the border please be alert of conman.

Yes, that is one of the 'must do thing' in my Zhuhai trip. Getting old liao...enjoy food more than women now.:D One thing i don't like about xgx service is i need to call and bring them along (to help me bargain). Don't understand why:confused:

Welcome to China. This is how the con artists (well deserved of a fake golden globe award for their acting skills) spread to other parts of Asia like Singapore and Malaysia.

I'm surprised that you still take up their offer in the first place.

Just count yourself lucky that you are still alive right now. One of my friend and ex-colleague got mugged and beaten up like crap, just because he didn't know how to react to this type of similar situation.
