There is an article in The Straits Times on 16 Mar 2012 on page C10 (Home section) with the title " 'Superman' expectations of Singapore men".

If I may summarise... according to the article, Singaporean men expected to last 20-30 mins in bed while women expected 10-15mins. And the article said that the actual average surveyed is 4-5mins for Singapore couples.

Also, up to 45% of Singapore couples expected to have sex 2-3 times a week while research showed 1.5 times a week is the norm.

I thought it would be interesting to highlight these data here for discussion :)

Bro comics00 made a good point in that when we guys are into our 30s, there are some that appreciate women in a different way. The connection on a cerebral level is a strong aphrodisiac. And if the ladies themselves are around the same age, they respond better due to their matured sexuality.

As for going the distance, it really depends on how you pace yourself. You slow down when it gets sensitive, vary your movement and change into one that does not drive you over the edge. For example, if thrusting brings you slowly to a climax, you do grinding instead so that you do not blow-off? Know what sort of movement keeps you within the safe zone and with some control, 30 minutes shouldn't be an issue?

Isn't lasting 4-5 mins a bliss? It means the guy was probably very turned on when doing it n chop chop got to the song song part. :D

Seriously why would one wanna bonk so long time huh? not tired huh? My only problem is after drinking alcohol, i can bonk for at least 30 mins! I think the issue is that the alcohol makes our didi not so sensitive but the knee cap and waist damn farking sore after that! How many times and how long is dependent on who the other party is. If it's one that makes you happy you can usually go the distance. But if the other party is one that always chide you and find fault with you would you have the mood to do it with her?

Well i agree that it may be age-dependent, and also depend on partner compatibility. This seems to hild true for many people.

I noted that how many minutes of sex, or what i call "sex stamina" depends more on the skills and endurance of the guy, since once the guy loses control and ejaculates, that usually spells the end of the sex session.

How many times a couple has sex in one week, or what i termed as "sex frequency" depends on the sex appetite of both partners, since it takes two to tango.

However as one ages on, the sex frequency need not be drastically reduced. If one maintains his health and sexual appetite, and improves his sexual skills, then sex stamina and sex frequency can be maintained.
