It's a very interesting area indeed. In fact, it's my regular haunt. Plenty of hipster cafes & cool makan joints there as well as in the nearby Kampong Glam & Arab Street area. Please PM me if you need any recommendations. ;)

Keypoint is making way for a mega 6-star Residence cum Shopping mall development for millionaires. Its a game changer for this area. Pubs + MPs should benefit.

Indeed. Keypoint used to be a ghost town anyway.
