When you are IN for money only, you can even marry your grandfather. This has been quite a norm in VN for a long time. When they started marrying Taiwanese some decades back, many gals from the Mekong Delta provinces have been marrying Taiwanese man many times their age. 18 year old marrying 70 year old. Their idea is quite simple, old man, rock him for a while and he will be dead and the gal can collect her share of his estate and marry someone else.
Many Singaporean man are practising the same thing, but the gap is not that wide. Its very normal to see Singapore man over 40 years old marrying VN gals of early 20s. They feel proud to get such young wives but their VN BX goes around telling others that their OX is soooo old.
Like what other BROs said, there's always reasons for the gals to marry foreigners. Some marry for the sake of better life in SGP, some marry for the sake of obtaining pass to stay in SGP to work. If not for these reasons, they will marry local viet man.
No matter which nationality you marry, there will always be some that are good and some that are bad. Some Singaporean man transform their bx to be family loving while others allow their bx to continue to work in the bars and be merry. To each their own. You decide what type of bx you want and what sort of family you want and you work from there.
