Sure its only RMB 138/night, but I guess the price reflect its quality. If you want to stay at the SWL area, then the Swan Lake hotel is a much better deal:

A block RMB 128,
B block 188
C block, the new wing with huge rooms/bathtubs RMB 298, but they'll give you a RMB 60 coupon back.

And I wouldn't worry about making reservations etc - all the chang Ping hotels have lots of vacancies!!
