September fixtures look manageable, but the big question mark still remains i.e. how to solve the shaky defence?? To be honest, if Sakho, Skrtel, Lovren etc. continue playing in this dodgy manner, the Reds are going to pay a heavy price sooner or later. BR and his defence coach need to use this International friendlies break wisely.
Also hate to say this but I think Gerrard needs to up his game, he has been quite mediocre all August , actually I think his mediocre form goes back to Brazil WC 14'. BR needs to have the courage to substitute his captain if Gerrard's form does not improve quickly.

Sometimes we have to look at the whole set up of Liverpool's defense. BR likes to play an attacking game. Hence all the players move up to attack. In fact if you had noticed the backline is playing almost close to the centre half. So Liverpool had an area left exposed back in their own half. So whenever the opposition grabs the ball back. Liverpool will be in deep trouble. The opposition will launch a quick counter attack.
Second thing to look at is the defensive midfielder. The defensive midfielder's job is to provide protection for the back four. He should quick enough to read the game and quick enough to stop the opposition.Sadly this is too is missing.
