Bad point is that it is getting more expensive with more tourist paying more for THE one! Agogo BFs 1000B was unheard less than 2 years ago not to mention a gogo girl asking for 5kB and above!

After going to Pattaya's agogo bars, I've never bothered to barfine girls from Soi Cowboy or Nana. If anyone wants to experience agogo bars, Pattaya is the place to go. But nowadays, the agogo prices in BKK and Pattaya almost the same price, especially at the popular Walking Street joints, only draft beer still much cheaper in Pattaya. One disadvantage (or advantage depending on how you view it) in Pattaya is the need to bar hop a lot to find The One, whereas in SC or Nana, just need to go to the few popular joints and you've pretty much seen the standard of these places.
I still prefer Soi 6 in Pattaya for the laidback atmosphere; it is certainly a good alternative to Walking Street or even Soi Metro agogo bars. However, it is something I admit have to get used to...walking up and down the soi with girls (normally the ugly ones or ladyboys) coming to get your attention or literally grab you. Enjoyed going to Bro Soi 6's old bar to grab a drink, sit down, chat with other sbf bros and watch the ladyboys harass the ang mohs walking by...
But I have to disagree that Pattaya is the place to party. I guess it depends on factors such as age, price, and party preferences. For those that prefer clubbing type of party or MPs, BKK is still the best place to go. For agogo and a more laidback atmosphere, Pattaya is definitely better. I am a lao ah pek, so like to go Pattaya to chill out, but also young at heart, so like to go party at BKK RCA to flirt with the sao saos to feel young again
