Our plan for that evening was to hit Soi 6 after dinner and then to WS. We had dinner at a boutique hotel near the beach which was recommended by the Fairtex receptionist. The food was great.... Western grill and seafood. As we walk out from the restaurant we realised we were quite near to WS so we adjourned there and forgot about Soi 6. Went barhopping to several AGGs and bars there..... was not impressed at all. Ended up in Insomnia where we each took home an FL each. Both FLs agreed to LT at 4K for my mate and 3.5K for mine.... but both of them did a runner on us. Mine took off after just 1 shot.... at least my mate did better and manage to get 2 shots with his FL.
So we both decided at breakfast to cut short out stay at Patts and return to BKK.
Having heard and read so much about Patts.... we were quite disappointed with our short foray there and still prefer to have our fun in BKK. |

Book a proper hotel la. I don't like these rooms attached to bars or restaurants. That's not their main business. I don't understand why you are mad with the Bangkok pickup? You mean it should be free? 1700B is a little higher but still in reasonable range.
All the tourist place you went were tourist traps but they do serve a purpose for specific interest groups. For example , photo buffs will love Sanctuary Of Truth.
Body massage has been discussed here many times. Bangkok win hands down , no contest or arguments here. But you tried the Indian place (many indian like to go there) instead of the other more East Asian preferred type like the Sabais or Rasputin.
Walking Street is now like Las Vegas. Fun with a lot of glitter but expensive. Which were the gogos you entered? The vibe and atmosphere alone beats anything Nana or Cowboy has to offer. There are other gogo and gogo areas you should have tried instead of heading back after only one day.
3.5-4kB is already SGD140+. Already warning signs are there for them to chop you as newbies. Like I said above , there are any other areas other than Walking Street. Beer bars alone have many gems for you to find and polish.
Your mistake is already set at the beginning. Not enough research and not seeking Soi 6 out when there. How difficult is it to take a Sangtow to Goodfellas?
But I do like your attitude , you seem open to adventures and went for it. If you do decide to revisit , I'll try to answer all your new questions.
As a sidenote , my first time to Pattaya in the late 80s was a terrible experience. Similar to your's! We were taken by taxi to a massage place and it was only so-so. Return without even staying the nite ; which is Pattaya's main attraction! Fast forward 15 years and I went again not expecting much and only staying one nite. But ........ I was hooked!
