still going on
- Are they foreigner friendly and is it safe to go there (as a white guy)? If I remember some forum posts correctly they became increasingly hard up for business and the ajummas/mamasan try to pull you in and not let you out (if they accept you as a customer at all.). which might be good for foreigners but on the other hand the quality of the girls may have gone down.
definitely no safety issues, I've never felt worried anywhere in Korea.
Very few shops foreigner friendly, but there are some.
- Another thing that bothered me quite a bit were reports on underage girls there. I wonder if that is a typical overstatement of feminist organisations or if there really are a lot of „runaways who don't know how they should support themselves otherwise“. Something I really want to avoid is getting to know an underage girl there (though I'm not 100% sure about the legal situation in ROK).
Never personally encountered underage - actually, just the opposite, the
foreigner friendly shops proabably have the older ones...
- What I read is there is a lot of BBFS, sometimes decided by the mamasan, wtf is up with that?
Miari seems to be the most fucked up place. Plus my feverdreaming mind was very compelled by the stories about Miari. Which is, again, very close to where I live.
I have not encountered BBFS anywhere for a casual encounter.
Maybe in Thailand, for a long term engagement... ( but even that
was many years ago).
