What i think is,9 days is still alright as a whole becos it is very new,meaning you are using new beds,furnitures etc etc. Batam is like that,after about 2-3 years,try to book 9 days again,you will realize the price will go down.
Just like Formosa Hotel,last year around this time i booked a most basic room at S$62 from booking.com,now look at today's price,hehehe...S$56 only,which is about 10% lesser. And I am talking about booking at the same place,at the same month,but different year.
After your most recent trip,you are likely to know what you are looking for in Batam,so finding a hotel that is closest to your "target of enjoyment" would be most ideal. Most important thing is,what you enjoy most in Batam,the girls? The massage? The night entertainment? Food? Tourist spots? etc...found it,then just got for it!

Yes,deBest is a very unique hotel. The toilet has big glass panel,can see thru the whole room,so no need scare girl will steal when i am bathing. What i have read is there is only 2 hotels that has the big toilet window that can see thru the room,the other one is more expensive (BCC).
