Which operator are u taking about..? Different operators have different pricing structure...

For Horizon ferries, singaporeans & non-Indonesians pay a standard rate of $48... Indonesians pay a cheaper rate.. No use asking an Indo to buy for u to use; they see your passport and u won't be able to use the lower pricing ticket..

For other operators, the rate is also about $48 if u buy from harbourfront. However, these tickets can be bought at a cheaper rate in batam and all nationalities can use it. Depending on which operator, the tickets can be bought for as low as $32 or so.

Given that your group size is big (30 pax), it makes sense to buy the tickets (eg batamfast, sindo ferry) from batam. A saving of $15 per ticket will equal to a group saving of $450...
