In June, I did AA with hand carry and I thought airline was strict in enforcing 7kg limit (like Jetstar). But realised if I did e-check with boarding pass hard copy, I could just go DIRECT to security and immigration. Saved time in check in counter to verify passport and document. No real checks by airline counter staff at gate too.
In Changi, you risk weighing your hand carry with a tag (Scoot, Jetstar). Oh well, see how long khun thais tong this
