Well....the last email the director talk of offering me a complimentary night stay at Batam.
I replied asking him is it any hotel of my choice?
No replies from him after that.
I didn't follow up after that. So I just leave it like that.

I usually will always plan in advance,making sure everything will running smoothly and if something unexpectedly cropped up,i will proceed to my pre-planned Plan B.

I know Im in trouble when I see the crowd at Batam Centre customs.
But I do know of some lousy crap 2 star hotels in that Formosa area.
In case, dun have.....I just stayed at those.
I dun really plan to a T. Sometimes I just leave it to circumstances.
Like my lunch / dinner are not of fixed time when Im travelling.
I just eat when I felt like it.
When Im on holiday travel, I just do things as and when I feel like it.

Seems like quite a norm to pay 50k from Batam Center ferry terminal to Nagoya nowaday. City Central has only start business about 3 to 4 months ago,hence not many people will know. By the way,more hotels around City Central coming up…hehehe…and soon.

It is still under construction for now.

That's good news. More choices. I prefer newly built hotels rather than refurbished ones.

Just curious why you drop at Formosa? I mean Lovinna Inn is nearer to City Central as compare to Formosa.

There are a few Lovina...but there is only ONE Formosa.
Any driver in Batam who dunno Formosa can stop becoming a driver.
In fact, I use Formosa as a landmark around that area.
I use Formosa as a focal point.
Similarly, I use Utama Hotel as a focal point at the other area.

Just curious which price range of room do you originally plan to take?

There was 288k,338k 388k and another at 588k.

That is the weekday rate.
Mine is Weekend rate. So it is the Superior Room at 388k.....
It is 338k during weekday.
The recep told me only the Superior room left....and it is a twin bed.
So no choice for me.
