I am not a "bro" but there shouldn't be much a difference making an appointment with a non-local FL and a Local FL. Just contacf the given email/number and set up a meeting.
All Do's and Don'ts should be stated on their thread/ advertisement.
As to how engaging any particular FL "will be like", just go and preview their FRs, they should have a compilation of their FRs, some bros prefer to give number and ratings, and others prefer to do a detailed recount of their rendezvous.
Other than that, unless you have some special needs or wants that FLs don't specify on their threads, then you'll have to just go and drop them a message to see if they are willing to accede to your "special requests".
