A man will be charged in court on Saturday (18 June) for allegedly committing obscene acts around Yishun.

The police received reports of obscene acts involving a man between 6 May and 14 June. Officers from the vicinity later established the suspect’s identity and arrested him along Yishun Ring Road on Thursday (16 June), the police said in a statement on Friday (17 June).

Yahoo Singapore understands that the man was suspected to be a flasher. He is believed to be involved in at least four cases of obscene acts.

If convicted under the Obscene Act, the man faces a jail term of up to three months or a fine or both.
