Even one is "clean", chances of been stop by immigration is common and random.
I travel a lot n my luggage is always store with condoms. I was stopped by the immigration in Melbourne and Perth. Full search of my luggage, simply pour all items out and saw my condoms n started asking stupid questions. They were amused to see a box of 12 condoms n I had to educate them, I practice safe sex.
Both cases they let me go after finding nothing.
I traveled to New York just after 911, just stamped my passport and I was thru. I have not encounter any problem when traveling in Asia.
