First para - yes, don't.

Second para - never ever expect sex, you'll be disappointed. If she goes out with you and you pay for her time, take a deep breath and ask yourself "is it worth it? I worked hard for this money. She obviously doesn't reciprocate my affection if i have to pay for her time. Why shower my affection on her then?" As a principle, i never pay for time. Its much better to go out as sincere friends not expecting it to end up in bed, than to pay $1k for a full day and ending up with at best a HJ. Please, don't get kc-ed.
