1st post after many years....
civil case not as easy as it seems, takes a long time. even if the court pass a verdict. u might not be able to get much back, considerin the fact that u have to foot ur own lawyer fees. todate, i spend more than 10k, pursuing a case which i'm still fighting more than 3 years. making a report is only a grain in the ricesack, it's like for recording purposes.. it's really a loselose situation.
unless u have concrete proof of acceptant of cash. if the whole incident have happened over a long period of time, it's even harder to get any proof. the only comfort is knowing that fellow(s) causing all the damage/hurt are being punish(ed) by the authority/law. however when that happens, it might not justify the amount u have spend.
....it's not easy to go thru the trial, jus imagine the amount of questioning, fingers pointing, laughter, giggles in the court room... and if u have watch movies showin court trial, it's somethin like that... it's not u alone, ppl involved will be required to attend trial too, when necessary.
take up the case, and be prepare to fork out $$. it's a rich mans' game.
poor ppl like me is strugglin to go thru the case, i hope u r in a better position to do this. take step by step, make a report. with the report consult professional advice, then decide if it's worth, and rem to ask about the fee/payment involved. hope it helps
