hcm is big and mysterious enough for many. All kinds of fun if you knew where to find and can afford time.
Quite a few of my friends cannot get used to the food but there always some food here that suits them. Bun rieu, bun mam, ban xeo and fried fish wrap. If you like to try Peking duck and dim sum in hcm then go to San Fu Lou or Ai Hoa restaurants. Some of the best cantonese cuisine in town but bear in mind the price not cheap. For address can google.

My similar feeling on HCM being an exciting place to explore. And so many surrounding cities to visit.
The costs generally is lower than philipines.
I m ok w 80% of vietnamese food cause mainly quite oriental.Must get used to mixing the sauces provided.
I frequent China Guangdong so cantonese food won't attract me there.
I also don't like most traditional Pinoy food but there are always places that cook oriental style.
Just need to find them.
Regular girl from Ca Mau zaloed me many nice scenery n seafood pics. Another potential place to visit.

Below this "popiah" choke my nose like wasabi i buay tahan. Maybe i never put sauce. The Viet really loved it.
