Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Bros, Liverpool must now turn their attention to other targets with Klopp still searching for a creative midfielder. They would be wise to rekindle their interest in Monaco star – Thomas Lemar. The Reds pursued the Frenchman back in January following Philippe Coutinho’s departure but failed to lure him to Anfield. Now, the time is right.

Valued at £58.5m by Transfermarkt, Lemar did not enjoy the season as much as Fekir. The 22-year-old was crucial to Monaco’s title bid the season before last, with a combined tally of 28 goals and assists but this campaign he has managed just 12. Often deployed on the left wing, Lemar can be isolated and looked lost at times without Kylian Mbappe.

A move to Merseyside could be just what he needs to rediscover his best form. The French international would thrive in Klopp’s system, the creative attacking midfielder in a 4-3-3. Known for his pressing and intensity, Lemar has the potential to develop into one of the world’s best.

Losing Fekir is a big blow but signing Lemar would put a smile on our regulars faces again.

Liverpool fans, thoughts? Looks like a risk...
