That's where you need to know how they operate. In Vietnam, couples that are not married are not allowed to stay in the same room. It is against the law to do that. So when you bring the gal back to hotel wanting to overnite, the hotel will reserve an extra room for your gal. The security will bring you and the gal to the room to take a look. Then the gal can follow you back to your room. just in case there's any raid by the police, the receptionist will call your room and the gal will have to quickly leave your room and go to her `room'. So when police check, she anhd u will not be in the same room lor. The extra US$13 will be used for reserving the room for the night
