I mean.. who knows. Maybe i had a generic viral infection and the syphilis bacteria was inside me all these years without me knowing. Or maybe the test result was a false positive. It's good people keep going for check ups and what not, and everytime it comes back negative you heave a sigh of relief and go back to chionging without protection. Until one day the test comes back positive...
Like what franco said, people need to have a real scare to wake up.
I just stopped engaging in high risk stuffs. And still go for a finger prick test at the afa mobile testing van. They claimed a finger prick test is quite accurate so there's that. :/

When you had the persistent low-grade fever, did your mind wander and start to fear the worst? Coz this symptom is commonly seen in one particular ailment.
Things not helped by the easy access to Dr. Google.
Think most people haven't had the experience of going into an STD test with a tremendous sense of foreboding. (Even going for such a test needs some courage.) And feel a massive load off your shoulders when the results are out.
