Just heard about the Saudis finally buying over Newcastle.

Long term this is really bad news for Liverpool as we shall have to deal with yet another big club with unlimited sovereign funds.

Newcastle have been a sleeping giant for decades as their local support at St James is relatively big at over 50k fans a game for PL matches. Now with the Saudis there is a real chance Newcastle can turn into a City or Chelsea in the next few years.

Going to be very interesting to see who it get's to take over from Steve Bruce and who they buy over the next few transfer windows.

Can we entice Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk to buy out FSG?
