Hello folks. Been many years since i visiting Seoul and so I forgot everything about this city. Just book tickets this Sun to have a break again, would appreciate advice and recommendations on hotels where its convienient to night drinking spots or streets.

As I am travelling alone, would prefer alittle to the 'safer' hotels. If I noticed correctly, L7 chain hotels seem to be budget friendly 4star hotel?

I would also like comments on which area is nice to stay where its close to local street food, local drinking places. Gangnam? Hongdae? Itaewon?
