That said, I would say the best way to avoid landmines is to diligently scour this forum for MRs from fellow bros. Of course take each one with a pinch of salt, read already discern for yourself and then pull the trigger to try. If you know which bro’s review suits your preference after trying then you know some will be able to give you good recommendations then you build from there. It will still be a bit trial and error give and take but you have to do your homework in order to avoid mistakes.

Thanks for the tips. Think I'll just use this thread to do my due diligence next time, but so far it seems that everyone is giving glowing reviews for Amei only, probably will be hard to book.
Also managed to meetup with the 2nd ML that actually responded to me; yeah the momo website's reviews are BS. Looked absolutely nothing like the photo, not terrible but not my cup of tea. At least service was thorough, not a time watcher, and she offered a shoulder massage after I cleaned up. For anyone curious:
