somehow an innocent discussion leads to who is trying is one-up who so it never really ends
Whenever somebody replies something, e.g. earlier on I remembered somebody asking for decent salon recommendations in D1 but nobody replied so when I mentioned one in D1 & immediately somebody jumped in to say why we need to pay so much for D1 when we can get cheeper & better services in other areas....ETC ETC....
actually nothing wrong in that but why do we need to always try to put others down to make ourselves look better especially on online forums really dont make sense to me so I just let it be as no incentives for me to prolong such unnecessary debates......
Most of the other places we go, both Tony & me would prefer it to be non-proliferated by westerners (as majority of their tastes are somewhat not what I prefer) & Cockroaches (ok I gotta admit I am very Cockroaches-cist) as they tends to spoil the markets in many ways since they are so loaded (Cockroaches I meant) so it doesnt really relates exactly to what you have mentioned as we are not really complaining on the lack of mongering choices in Nha Trang
I have stuck to HCM for many years simply due to familiarity and that all my regular travelling buddies prefer there so thats it....
