I would just enjoy the process, live in the present and not think too much about whether it is "real" or not as long as you are not investing too much money and energy into it. After all, you are getting what you want in the form of feeling loved and appreciated.
However, men like us should always remain objective and be ready to pull yourself out of the situation if she starts to show her true colours instead of lingering around, trying to continue projecting your romantic fantasies on her.
