Yes bro. You are correct. The fact is that even before you went to the village, almost half the village already know that you will be introduced to that particular cousin. So u lan lan have to stick to their game plan when you are there. Gossiping is a favourite past time in Vietnam, especially the provinces. If nothing comes out of u and the cousin, its lost of face to the cousin and many people will start to gossip if the cousin have slept with u... hehehe
