I experience something of the same kind with my vn girlfriend. Know her for nearly 2 years already.
1st year only frequent visit to VN.
1st year birthday, ask for HP... bought a $100 2nd hand hp. She damn happy. Now the hp spoilt, she still keep it. She asy its my 1st present to her.
near end of 1st year... she say parents owe money, need $1500. I helped.
2nd year, i intiate to help her in her rental. $200/mth
2nd year birthday, I see her going work in 'xe om' everyday, I heart pain. So I initiate to buy her a motorbike. She source around and found 1 2nd hand Honda xxxxx. $500.
mid 2nd year, brother go school need notebook. I buy 1 notebook $1100 paying 2year installment. But deduct $50 from her mthly allowance till installment is paid up.
near end 2 year (now), again family owe money. Helped her family again with $2000.
Money is always involve somehow at certain point of time. but it really depend on the cc they ask for. My girlfriend seems to be a small cc... machiam a QQ car.
