Also for svc apartments, i came across a few like saigon village, tan da apartments etc. My budget is around USD2000 per month, any recommendations bros ? Preferable an upmarket place, maybe near embassy locations etc .... can't seem to get much info on the internet !!!

From my understanding, Omni and Parkroyal will not allow you bring girls/Fls up to your hotel room. You will notice they actually have signs near the lifts telling hotel guests that it is actually a crime.

If you actually read through this thread, you will notice that 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam will not allow you to bring the girl up to your room.

This was experience during my short stay in HCMC. ended up paying extra for some of those small "neighbourhood" hotels for like USD$20 per night.

For Service apatments, I not very sure. But previously, when one of my friends was stationed there, the service apartment he stayed in also wouldnt allow him to bring girls up. No matter how much noise he was making, they said no.

Also for your budget of USD$2000 might not be enough. This is because TAXES have not been included. When you view the property websites, remember that the prices are before taxes.
