In a recent trip to Guangdong province, I dropped by Dongguan for a brief visit to see the sights and naturally to feed my needs. After alighting the train from Shenzhen to Dongguan, I took a 5 minute cab ride to Lion hotel (Siong Shi), which was supposed to be home to one of the 2 most established clubs in town according to Hong Kong friends. Being my first trip here, I realized that Dongguan looked reasonably well appointed. The street where the hotel was pretty active with plenty of restaurants and KTV joints. I noted a new hotel with pretty posh looking interiors (at least from the poster outside) which was fittingly called Virgin Hotel.

On arrival at the hotel, I checked in. Being a Saturday the room rates were much more expensive than usual. I paid about 350 RMB for a room which would have cost 150 RMB after discount on a weekday. The hotel was run down but clean and serviceable and I noted that it was also in the process of renovation. That renovation job included the sauna unfortunately. To cut a long story short, a pleasant walk and a good meal (plenty of seafood at a grand total of 80 RMB) later, I arrived back at the hotel ready to play. I did note that according to dated information I had, during the day, the streets were normal packed with pretty girls (SW or WG or mistresses of Hong Kongers). But to my disappointment, the streets weren't so crowded when I was wandering on a Saturday evening. I sure hope it wasn't a sign of more disappointment in the night.

I strolled into the KTV in Lion Hotel and was greeted by the usual fanfare you get in such places. The KTV room required a minimum 400 RMB consumption charge and in a few moments, I had my line-up paraded in front of me. Some 30 girls later, I settled on a delightful Hunan girl (a 7 in looks but a 9 in cuteness and playfulness factor). There was a floor show in the hall but I wasn't thinking about getting entertained anywhere but up in my room and so off the the room we went, after leaving a 200 RMB tip for the waitress who was extremely accommodating and double-teamed with the girl to play touch and feely games with me all night.

I shall spare the gory details but suffice to say I was sated by the morning (2 shots, once in the night and the second in the morning) and 800 RMB lighter in the wallet.

In summary, the experience was about a 7.5. Very much a GFE type of experience with a sweet little girl next door type. So no BJ but I had a good time so I guess it was worth the 2000 RMB or so spent in total inclusive of travel, accommodation, meals, and having a good time.
